Giacomo Medici’s soul is separated in two: a singer with experience in both the world of tango and classical music. Working internationally as a baritone opera singer, Giacomo Medici reinterprets tango’s all time classics following the footsteps of those who made the genre famous in the first place, iconic singers such as Carlos Gardel, Julio Sosa, Edmundo Rivero.
His last tour brought Medici throughout Europe and Latin America, playing in Argentine’s most historical tango location. That experience became the documentary “The Italian who sings tango”, presented in both Italian and Latinoamerican TVs. Among his most important collaborations as opera singer we remind the ones with the Academy Awards winners Woody Allen, Dante Ferretti, Santo Loquasto and Gabriella Pascucci, the orchestra conductors such as Bruno Bartoletti, James Conlon, Bruno Campanella, Donato Renzetti etc.
Giacomo will perform with Tanguango beautiful and rare moments at Tango Malena Festival!
